New Sudima Hotel to open in time for Rugby World CupAfter nearly a year of construction and at a cost of NZ$30 million, Sudima Auckland Airport has opened its doors on 9th of May, 2011. This is indeed a very exiting time for us and we look forward to welcoming you to the hotel.
At the first stage of opening (Monday, 9th May 2011) our Standard rooms and the public areas of the hotel including the bar, restaurant and the fitness centre will be fully operational. The second and final stage of the opening (1st June 2011) will see the opening of our Executive rooms, indoor heated swimming pool, and our extensive conference facilities, which includes a pillar-less ballroom and 7 breakout rooms.
With 153 rooms, Sudima Hotel Auckland Airport will be a mid-sized hotel, well placed to serve business and conference needs, in addition to those of tourists in transit. As well as an all day restaurant and elegant bar, the hotel will feature a dedicated ballroom, opening out to landscaped gardens, making it an all-season event venue. There will also be an inviting pool in lush surroundings and a gym with the latest fitness equipment.
